Hm thats odd??

It is not to long since I rejoined this kin, but as I started using the forum it struck me that people are not using it very active...
Why is that?
A forum is a handy tool to have.

Well yes, this is a handy tool to have around and of course i would like to see people using it too. But i understand too that not everyone are forum person and love to hang here when they can also chat in game. I'll try to keep events, i am trying to arrange, posted here so people can check out them more easily. Perhaps during time forum will become more used by our members, though in my opinion it is far from dead at the moment too. Hope people have found some of our links useful and look forward to see new things posted in here.

Have to agree with my learned friend Leo. I would not say that the forum is dead, far from it infact.

Besides Barstan, having ran the last forum you should know to expect not everyone using it.

Yes, I should not expect everyone to use it. Altought I it don't take much time to check in on the forum a couple of times a week while you play the game.

Personaly I like forums and I am logged on here whenever I play.

My activity with LOTRO and the Forum varies depending work and family. but I like to write and comment others.

I personally think that this particular forum is one of the more active MMO forums I have seen or participated on (besides my old WoW raiding guild - they are super busy)
Some food for thought though, maybe people would be more busy here if we had some sort of gallery where members could post their newest game screenshots, or a more general "What's new?" page that our leaders/officers could use as an extra to the in-game MOTD.

I think Hestin has a great idea here! I have recently taken some screenshots and I think it would be cool to show them off. Also, my highest alt character is only lvl 33, so I think it would be really neat to see some of the places other people have been that I haven't yet gotten to. Obviously we would have to set some sort of file/image size limit or they would take forever to load, but I really think this would be a neat way to get people more active in the forum.
