Monthly Kinship Meetings are here cheers

Where and When i hear you ask

The when first, they will be held on the first Sunday of the month starting at 18:30uk

The where, well the Kin house of course Shocked

If you have any specific subjects/topics you want to talk about please post it here so as to guarantee they will be covered, I will also send a mail and edit the MOTO so those who don't read the forum will not miss out.

So I hope to see you all at the Kin House for our first meeting on Sunday 3rd August

Very nice. Perhaps it's also a good occasion to meet new recruits, and celebrate those who become members as well as those reaching 50.

Lovely! Finally a chance to dress up and meet kinmates casually, without swords and monsters involved.

And yes it would be nice to make it an official routine that the Officers announced those who have gained full membership within last month. We're having so many recruits it's been a bit hard to keep track of people. I hope we can use this opportunity to raise the team spirit and have a good time together.

Yes, these meetings can be a lot of fun. Perhaps we can have some announcements about planned events e.g. planned raids into different areas, or announce the next instance, day and time. This would give those who wish to lead a chance to take us into other places like the Ettens. Also, a good place to swap recipes and request special needs for crafting. If we know what people need we can collect items for them. What about:

Announcement and induction of new members (Galenthir and Annwyl's idea). Make it a ceremony where they walk up, introduce themselves and receive a hearty welcome.
Report on last Rift raid from Leo (encouraging others to level up)
Possible new raids and instances for the week (there are so many other places we all need to go to)
Ideas for a fun activity (e.g. a chicken run in the Shire - why not? / Sitting on a hill overlooking a beautiful area and listening to a story Smile

)
Special needs announcement (to give us an idea of how we can help you)
A suggestion for an RP event (someone could take charge of RP)
Special thanks from people to people who have helped them in some way (raising awareness that we are a helpful kin)
More rides/walks to different areas to get new members interested in our kin.

We loved the group activity - it was a lot of fun, but treating each other with respect and recognising differences is important. Shouting and name-calling should be avoided.

Looking forward to our next meeting bounce

Got a few shots, have to look through them and post somewhere.

And anyway, I don't think we have to have these meetings every week. Once a month for bigger gatherings should be good? However that time each Sunday can be an excellent regular spot to see who are online and do something together, epic quests or instances and so on.
